Working with clients in New Zealand, the UK and North America.

We help technology companies commercialize.

We work with technology companies that have built something people pay for and now have to turn it into a business that runs without them. We own the work alongside your team rather than handing it over, and the people who scope it are the people who do it.

Most early technology companies make enormous bets on almost no evidence.

A solution built for a problem nobody has, then a worldwide hunt for someone willing to buy it. A price copied from a competitor who was also guessing. A roadmap that is really the last five customer conversations. Money going out on things nobody has questioned in a year.

That isn't carelessness and it isn't stupidity. Most founders have never worked anywhere that did product management properly, never watched real customer research happen, never run a commercial team. Nobody showed them.

Then somewhere around a million, it stops working. Revenue is growing and nobody can quite explain which part of it repeats. Costs are climbing faster than income. The board has started asking questions that don't have answers yet, and every decision that matters still comes back to you.

We have been on that side of the table. It is a horrible feeling, it is completely normal, and it is usually the point where somebody calls us.

The same shapes turn up again and again, in companies that have never met. So we write them down.

Three kinds of company.

Scaling companies →

One to five million in revenue. The product works and the customers are real. Everything that got you here has quietly stopped working.

Deep tech →

Real technology, often patents, a year of funding and instructions to go and be a company. The science is done. The commercial part is not.

Crossing borders →

Winning at home, now looking at a market twenty times the size that will not forgive a single assumption you brought with you.

First we find out. Then we do something about it.

Ground Truth, first →

A complete commercial analysis of the business, for a fixed fee agreed before we start. Written up, then argued through with you. Plenty of people take it away and run it themselves, and that is a good outcome.

Then the work →

Three or six month agreements, a conversation every week, and one or both of us inside the decisions rather than alongside them. This is where a business actually changes.
